While OS X can natively read and write FAT-formatted drives, it’s a one-way (read-only) street with NTFS—that is, without a little help from Paragon. NTFS for Mac 14 installs a preference pane. The package has been tested with Mac OS X 10.4.11/PowerPC, Mac OS X 10.5.8/PowerPC and Mac OS X 10.6.4/Intel/64-bit Intel. NTFS-3G includes and depends on MacFUSE. NTFS-3G is an open-source cross-platform implementation of the Microsoft Windows NTFS file system with read/write support. NTFS-3G often uses the FUSE file system interface, so it can run unmodified on many different operating systems.It is runnable on Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenSolaris, illumos, BeOS, QNX, WinCE, Nucleus, VxWorks, Haiku, MorphOS, Minix, macOS and OpenBSD.

Mac OS X can read volumes formatted with the NTFS file system, which is for Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Reading information can be done without a hassle, but writing information requires an external device.
The application that makes it possible is the reading/writing driver originally from Linux called NTFS-3G, which must be used along with MacFUSE.
After installing both, you can write in the Windows partition that you've created with BootCamp, or in any other disc drive that the NTFS file system uses.
